St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patricks Day.  I may not be Irish, but I know a green shirt when I see one and I am wearing it today.  It may be hidden underneath my gray polo shirt, but I'm still wearing it.  No pinchies here!

Remember in elementary school, if you weren't wearing green on this special day, the girls would pinch you?  I would never get pinched because I live for any chance to wear a costume or be part of a theme.  I wouldn't go as crazy as this guy, but my shirt was always green.

So let's all have fun this St. Patrick's day and don't drink too much green beer!!

Paczki Day!!

Yesterday was paczki (poonchkie) day.  I showed a little restraint and only ate 2 of them: a custard and a lemon.  Very, very yummy!!

 

 

They came from the Martha Washington Bakery in Hamtramck.  Deeeelish!!
